About the Heart of Cary Association

The Mission of the Heart of Cary Association

To preserve, protect and enhance the fundamental character and charm of the heart of Cary while assuring it remains a vibrant, prospering community of residents and businesses.

Our monthtly meetings are at 8am on the first Thursday of every month.

We invite you to attend our next meeting on June 7 at 8:00am in the Cary Chamber of Commerce Building, located at 307 N Academy Street. The meeting will have more of an informal open format where you, the membership, will have the chance to bring forward issues that are of importance to you. So please make sure to attend this meeting and let everyone know what is on your mind and what issues you would like to see the Heart of Cary Association get involved in.


Our goal is to create a cooperative community of businesses and residents who share our vision of a thriving, upscale, family-oriented community.

Just a few of the features we envision for Downtown Cary are:
  • A town center park with a cultural arts center
  • Well-planned and maintained landscaping, with flower gardens and extensive landscape lighting
  • Wide, level sidewalks accented by park benches and sculptures
  • A developed, prosperous community of cafes, boutiques, galleries and restaurants
